Way Group is a migration practice in Melbourne. We are small on purpose: you will know the name of the person handling your file, and you will not be passed around.

We work in English, Portuguese and Spanish, with people applying from inside Australia and from overseas.

How we got here

From student visas to migration law

Fernanda Maia started helping international students with their visas in 2018, and went on to qualify as a QEAC registered education agent. What began as helping a few people navigate their applications became the thing she did full time.

In 2020 she founded Education Way, with one idea behind it: go further than students were used to being taken. Not just an enrolment, but the whole arrival.

The migration questions kept coming, and answering them properly meant being qualified to answer them. In 2023 she completed the Graduate Diploma of Migration Law at Australian Catholic University, passed the Capstone assessment, and registered as a migration agent, MARN 2418447.

Way Group is where that work happens now. Education Way still handles course placement and enrolment. Keeping them separate is deliberate, because only a registered migration agent can give you immigration assistance, and you should always know which one you are talking to.
